HOW ARE YOU COMPENSATED?

You pay us. It’s pretty simple. While we do maintain an insurance license, insurance commissions make up less than 1% of our total income. This allows us to give objective, unbiased financial advice in your best interest. We (as your “partner”) have positioned ourselves so your goals can be our goals. Nothing is hidden. If what you are paying doesn’t seem worthwhile, we would expect you to stop paying us.


WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE NAME PARTNER WEALTH PLANNING?

Partner communicates collaboration towards a shared goal. Hopefully a partner is someone you enjoy working with and someone you have chosen carefully.

Wealth often means money. We think about it a bit differently. For us, true wealth is about much more than having money. It's peace of mind, accomplishing life goals, relationships, family and friends. To a large extent money will impact all of these.

Planning communicates intentional direction, meaning, vision and purpose. We don't believe anyone should live an unexamined life, but rather should progress with intention and purpose.


How do you define success?

Perhaps the most enjoyable part of the relationship is seeing our clients obtain peace-of-mind. Whether this is because they have finally found someone they can trust, or when the veil is lifted and they have a more holistic understand of their financial picture, we strive to accomplish this.


Do you uphold the fiduciary standard?

Absolutely. Here is what that means: We can be held liable if we don't give good advice & recommendations. We will always put your best interests first. We will act with prudence, that is, with skill, care, diligence and good judgement of a professional. We will not mislead you and we will provide conspicuous, full and fair disclosure of all important facts. We will avoid conflicts of interests. We will fully disclose and fairly manage, in your favor, any unavoidable conflicts.

What is your investment philosophy?

Generally, we invest client portfolios to focus on long term goals. Our approach is primarily academically driven. We believe by keeping fees low, tilting portfolios to dimensions of expected return, creating efficiencies through strategic asset allocation, minimizing tax burdens by selecting tax efficient funds and creating a diversification approach that offers appropriate risk-adjusted returns. 

Additionally, we believe the best way to accomplish longterm success is to develop a solid plan and stick to it.


What does it take to become a PWP employee?

We are very selective about who we hire. We are looking for impeccable character, integrity, passion and motivation to excel in everything. All employees hired by PWP must display a strong desire to serve others.


What is your minimum and what are your fees. 

We currently have no asset minimum. While we believe wealth planning and wealth management are best paired together, we do not require that you let us do both. The choice is always yours.
